A Holiday Treat

Image 3

Happy Christmas Eve! I think Christmas Eve is actually my favorite part of Christmas. My family is all coming here for dinner tomorrow. There’s food to be made, tables to be set, and a few last minute gifts to wrap. Anticipation of a wonderful day is the best part, even if there’s no chance of snow.

This morning I’m making sticky buns for my guys. It would be a great treat for Christmas morning too. This recipe is perfect for two reasons; first it’s fool proof - these always work, and second, it’s so easy anyone can do this. You could even assemble everything tonight and just put it in the fridge to bake in the morning. Enjoy this recipe anytime, but most of all - have yourself a merry little Christmas now!

Unroll both sheets of puff pastry.  Melt remaining 4 Tbsp butter and spread on both sheets of puff pastry. Sprinkle with remaining brown sugar, cinnamon, dried cranberries and any leftover pecans.

Roll up both sheets of puff pastry and cut each into 6 pieces, about 1½ inch each. Put one roll spiral side up in each muffin cup.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until pastry is golden. Invert pan immediately on to a tray (line with foil for easy clean-up) and enjoy!
