Bourbon Buttermilk Pie


Homemade crust (see Tomato Pie) or store bought- no one will judge you!


4 eggs

¾ cup sugar

3 tbsp flour

½ tsp salt

4 Tbsp melted butter

1½ cups buttermilk

1 tsp vanilla

¼ cup bourbon


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat eggs and sugar in a mixing bowl until light colored, about 2 minutes.

Add flour and salt and blend to mix.

Mix in butter, buttermilk, and bourbon.

Pour in unbaked crust and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until set. Do not over bake.

Cool slightly. Serve at room temperature or cold from the fridge!
